This gives good Surface, Air and Sub defence capabilities. For the Carrier, I personally prefer 3 Carriers, 3 Destroyers and 4 Light Cruisers. You should have two types of naval compositions - Carrier Taskforces and old-style Battleship fleets. I like to invade the two nearby provinces and then attack the port from two sides.

Do NOT attach any other brigade to marine brigades, ideally a division should be 4x Marines. CAG's loose organisation extremly quickly, and having a new, fully organized, fully repaired set ready to replace the old ones can do wonders.ДЇor Invasions, make sure you have convoys, use Landing Craft (Not Transports) and Marine soldiers. Attack quickly, before she gets her shit together!ДЇirstly, build four CAG's for every Carrier. The more time you let go, the harder it will be, since USA is great at dumping huge amounts of ships in the Pacific, making naval battles a nightmare. WAR TIP: try to quickly conquer USA's islands, all the way to Hawaii. They share a practical with TAC, and also share their tech brand with this same bomber. Instead, if you want to wreak havoc on enemy convoy, build NAV bombers. They have its own practical and its own tech brand. NAVY TIP: personally, I would stay clear of using any SUBS. The options are pretty straightforward, explore a little bit if you feel confused. After you right click a small screen with options will appear. Check the wiki for more info, but TAC are used mainly to bomb things, and INT are used to attack bombers. Once you choose the unit, right click the province you want to bomb or protect. You should never have more than 3 air units per division, since that stacking penalty will remove more 'airpower' than the one an extra unit provides. Beware: motorized or hard units are even more susceptible to this penalty.ДЄir forces: you simply click the airport, and choose the units that you want to use.

Be sure to attack with marines, since any other units has an amphibious penalty (cant remember the number now). If there are any units on that province, then a fight will ensure.

Your units will slowly move toward the island, you will be able to see the progress thanks to a blue arrow that will slowly fill up. You just park your transport ships next to the island or coast, select the units inside the ship and right click to move them to the island. Seaborne Invasions: you can do them with a normal transport boat, or can later choose the assault ships. It does not solve the problem, but it makes it way easier. I don't know about FTM, but TFH has a cool tool, when you click a division, to the left of the general info is a narrow 'margin', that if you click it, it brings a sleeker way of showing you the OOB. Unfortunately HOI3 weak spot is micromaniging the divisions and the OOB (Order of Battle).
